Small and Intimate Oahu Wedding || Waimanalo Bay, (Sherwood Forest) Hawaii Celebration

We love small and intimate Hawaii beach weddings here at Right Frame Photography. So, when Klaudia and Pawel asked us to capture their day, we were overjoyed. They had their Waimanalo Beach Wedding ceremony in the Sherwood Forest of Hawaii. Reverend Kimo Taylor is the minister that joined them. The soft white sand, turquoise blue water, and ironwood forests of Waimanalo Bay are some of its numerous attractions.

As a Hawaii wedding photography business, we also love the contrast between the beach and the forest. It gives couples a chance to get pictures with two different but equally good-looking backgrounds. You can bet that we took pictures of Klaudia and Pawel with both backgrounds. We also did a session with them at Kahala Beach and Bamboo Forest. Then we headed over to Secret Beach Ko’Olina at sunset.

Getting Ready at Waikiki Beach, Hotel

Klaudia and Pawel’s Hawaii beach wedding took place on the 26th of June 2018. The day dawned bright and early with the sun out by the time we took preparation pictures. We were able to capture important details like the rings, the garter, Klaudia’s wedding dress and Pawel’s suit. After getting ready, the couple hired a limo to the beach where Reverend Taylor was already waiting for them. He offered them a Lei (Garland or necklace of flowers given to signify welcome). Pawel’s lei was made purely of greenery.

Next, the ceremony started in full, and the couple said their vows. They exchanged rings after that. After the ring exchange was the sand ceremony. This love ritual celebrates the joining of the couple in an inseparable way. We love that this couple chose to have a sand ceremony as part of their beach wedding. It’s a great use of your natural surroundings as part of your wedding.

We really loved having a chance to capture this beautiful couple on their Hawaii wedding day. Photographer took beautiful pictures of them walking together on the beach. We also have amazing pictures of them in the forest. It was a lovely day all round.
